The upgrading project of Zhaomushan Forest Park has begun since October 2017. It is estimated that the renovation work will be finished in August this year. The upgrading project of the park will provide visitors with a more pleasant and relaxing visiting experience and will improve the utilization of Zhaomushan Forest Park.
The renovation work increased a new runway and a five-a-side football field. Many other convenient facilities have also been set in the park, including the walkways around the lake, a basketball playground under the forest areas, shelters and free WIFI service, etc. In addition, 30,000 square meters’ flower will also be placed in the park. Being surrounded by nature, people can be away from the hubbub of the city and appreciate the beauty of the world.
Zhaomushan Forest Park locates in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area, which covers an area of 4,700 hectare. The park acquires its name from the Southern Song Dynasty’s scholar Feng Shixing who settled down here to look after his mother. Relying on the natural habitats and deep-rooted culture, Zhaomushan Forest Park possesses splendid landscape and profound culture atmosphere, which shows a distinctive spirit to the visitors.
