According to the Xiamen Air, a new direct flight will be launched since December 18th. It will link Quanzhou, an important seaport located in southeast Fujian Province, and Davao, a highly urbanized city in Philippines. The flight is scheduled to fly every Tuesday and Friday.
The new air route will be operated by Boeing 737 -800 aircraft of Xiamen Air. The flight MF8679 will leave Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport at 09:00 a.m. Beijing time. It will arrive in Davao International Airport at 12:15 p.m. local time. The flight time is 3 hours and 15 minutes. The return flight MF8680 will depart from Quanzhou at 13:15 p.m. local time and will arrive in Davao at 16:30 p.m. Beijing time.
Quanzhou City is also called Licheng and Citongcheng. It is one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in Fujian Province. The climate in Quanzhou is warm, humid, and comfortable for the year-round travel. Due to its special location, Quanzhou has been China's marine door to exotic cultures since ancient times. As the starting point of the Sea Silk Road, Quanzhou has accepted diverse religions including Christianity, Islam and Manichaeism.
