President No.6 cruise ship took her first sailing in the spring in 2011, and it is a 5-star cruise ship of new generation breaking though the traditional hardware facilities and service criteria of river cruises on the Yangtze River.

The itineraries, ports, departure & arrival time, shore excursions listed above are subject to change according to the weather, river condition and permission from the navigational authorities. Besides, activities onboard, dining and entertainment options vary and are subject to change.
The President cruise company will arrange three shore excursions during the whole cruise between Chongqing and Yichang and usually there are two or three OPTIONAL shore excursions which are not listed in the fixed itinerary that travelers can decide to go or not based on your interest, real physical condition and budget. The optional sites will be visited depending on the number of travelers who want to go and the cost is 280 RMB/person for each. If you want to go, tell the reception desk who would register for you and receive your pay in site. The ARRANGED shore excursions are included in your quotation, so you could visit the sites without extra charge. However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. You could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. For your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
The shore excursions to “Fengdu Ghost City” and “Shibaozhai Pagoda” need some steps climbing and comfortable shoes re highly recommended! If you have problems with steps, you can choose to stay on the ship without joining in the excursions (If it is the arranged shore excursion by the cruise company, please note that there is no refund).

Onboard President No.6, the two single beds in the room can be put together into a larger bed, which meets rightly the requirements of travelers like a couple, a parent with one or two kids, and so on. It is better to tell our Travel Consultant in advance if you need this great service.
If you travel on President No.6 and want to have a rollway bed in your cabin, you are advised to tell out Travel Consultant in advance and required to pay extra.
Cabins on President No.6 cruise ships are arranged from the second floor to the upper floors. Usually cabins on the upper decks enjoy better sightseeing and have shorter distances to the recreation areas and the sun deck. If you want to upgrade your room or deck after checking in, you can tell your needs to the staff at the reception desk, and then they will handle it based on the practical situation of room occupation. Usually, you can successfully make it, however, if there is no other room available, you can still enjoy great moment in your own cabin. This service needs some extra payment.
Cabins on upper decks on President No.6 cruise have better sight for sceneries and are closer to many recreation facilities, such as the bar, entertainment hall, reading room, card room, sun deck, etc. which are better choices for travelers who want to have fun during every minute on your trip.
For cabins on lower decks on President No.6, they are usually smoother during the sailing and enjoy shorter distance to the dining hall. People who like smoother trip and don’t want to walk too far to dine are highly recommended to choose the lower decks.

The ship has set special safeguard system of food to make the delicate food prepared in clean and closed kitchen. As all the breakfast and lunch are arranged in buffet mode and dinner in Chinese sitting style, guests onboard can taste a lot of diverse flavors of hot and cold dishes of Chinese, Japanese, American, European and other internationally popular types. And you will have many interesting disserts and drinks to excite your taste sense.
1. If you have some special dietary requirements, like diabetic, vegetarian, etc., just tell that to our Travel Consultant when booking or to the staff onboard in advance for half to one day before the dining time.
2. The cruise manager and the cruise guide will inform you about the detailed dining time for each meal through the broadcasting system in your cabins and the public areas, bulletin board, elevators, and TV channel every day.
3. There are 8 to 10 travelers sitting together in a round table arranged according to the nationalities, eating habits and cabins of guests.
Onboard President No. 6, you will not spend one boring minute, since a great number meaningful and enjoyable fun are there already to please you from dawn till dark. If you wake up early, you can go up to the sundeck to learn to play Taichi under the guidance of the Taichi master. And when not visiting the shore excursion sites, you can have a lot to do. You can appreciate the fine view of the Yangtze River, and attend interesting lectures to have better understanding about the profound culture of calligraphy, painting, medicine, and so on of traditional China, stroll along the gifts shops to buy some souvenirs. Also, there are swimming pool, chess & card room, massage room, children’s paradise, reading room, movie theater, and so forth for you to spend wonderful time on the cruise. Besides, crews on the ship have prepared evening shows like singing and dancing, magic, opera, fire spitting, fashion show, etc. to bring more happiness to your trip. (Dressing Tips: it is not very strictly required to wear a suit, a tie, an evening dress, high heels, etc., and try to dress yourself as comfortable as possible. However, too casual clothes and shoes like vest, jeans, round-neck shirts, shorts, slippers, etc. are better not to dress during the party.)

Cruise guide: the English cruise guide will introduced for free the Three Gorges for you and inform you about the visiting sites and detail time through the broadcasting system every day. Besides, he/she will join in the parties and performance host to lead you to enjoying the great leisure time.
Laundry service: you can of course do some washing in your own cabins. Besides, if you need the laundry service onboard, just call the reception desk, and the staff will send your clothes to do laundry and back to your room after ready, and you just need to pay some extra fee.
Internet & Wi-Fi: computers in the business center are available for guests to send share some photos on the internet and deal with business issues. Besides, Wi-Fi service is also offered for you, which is convenient to link your mobile tools with the internet. This service needs extra payment.
Money Exchange: if you need, you can exchange some different kinds of currencies onboard, such as US dollars, Euros, Chinese Yuan, etc.
The cruise manager and staff are so considerate to help maintain your healthy life style. Onboard the ship, you can join in the learning of playing Taichi under the guidance of the Taichi master in the early morning and inhale the fresh air to awake your body on the Sun Deck.
