Sailing for her maiden voyage in March 19, 2013. Century Paragon is a luxurious 5 star yangtze ship equipped with indoor swimming pool which takes an area over 2000 square meters.
Due to modern ship-building technologies, Century Paragon is reputed for its safe, comfortable and unforgettable journey on the Yangtze River. It is famous for its excellent services on the board. Tasty Chinese and Western food with dozens of choice are offered in the elegant Panoramic Restaurant and A La Carte Restaurant. Internet is available in Internet café within 24 hours.
Century Paragon is equipped with 2 wonderful sightseeing elevators to see the beautiful scenery. There are well-equipped business facilities such as Executive Suites, business center, and fax machines. It is a popular choice for business meeting and other commercial activities.
In addition, Century Paragon has a lot of entertainment facilities consisting of swimming pool, cinema, library, bars, gym, massage room and shopping malls. The itineraries, ports, departure & arrival time, shore excursions listed above are subject to change according to the weather, river condition and permission from the navigational authorities. Besides, activities onboard, dining and entertainment options vary and are subject to change.
The Century cruise company will arrange three shore excursions during the whole cruise between Chongqing and Yichang and usually there are two or three OPTIONAL shore excursions which are not listed in the fixed itinerary that travelers can decide to go or not based on your interest, real physical condition and budget. The optional sites will be visited depending on the number of travelers who want to go and the cost is 290 RMB/person for each, except Quyuan Birthplace for 220 RMB/person, Ship Lift for 218 RMB/person. If you want to go, tell the reception desk who would register for you and receive your pay in site. The ARRANGED shore excursions are included in your quotation, so you could visit the sites without extra charge. However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. You could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. For your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
The shore excursions to "Fengdu Ghost City" and "Shibaozhai Pagoda" need some steps climbing and comfortable shoes re highly recommended! If you have problems with steps, you can choose to stay on the ship without joining in the excursions (If it is the arranged shore excursion by the cruise company, please note that there is no refund).

Usually cabins on the upper decks enjoy better sightseeing and have shorter distances to the recreation areas and the sun deck. If you want to upgrade your room or deck after checking in, you can tell your needs to the staff at the reception desk, and then they will handle it based on the practical situation of room occupation. Usually, you can successfully make it, however, if there is no other room available, you can still enjoy great moment in your own cabin. This service needs some extra payment.
Cabins on upper decks on Century Paragon cruise have better sight for sceneries and are closer to many recreation facilities, such as the bar, entertainment hall, reading room, card room, sun deck, etc. which are better choices for travelers who want to have fun during every minute on your trip.
For cabins on lower decks on Century Paragon, they are usually smoother during the sailing and enjoy shorter distance to the dining hall. People who like smoother trip and don’t want to walk too far to dine are highly recommended to choose the lower decks.

Captain's Welcome Party is arranged on the second day of your Yangtze River cruise, with Captain’s Farewell Party on the last but one day. Attend the parties to feel the warm hospitality and nice service of the captain and staff on the cruise ship, enjoy the delicious food and drinks, dance together with your people or other vacationers, and immerse into the harmonious moments.
(Dressing: dressing code for the party is not too strict. A suite, a tie, an evening dress, a pair of high-heels, etc. are not very strictly necessary. However, some too informal clothes, such as jeans, could-neck T-shirts, shorts, slippers, and so forth are better to avoid. Just dress comfortable to enjoy the cruise trip.)

Cruise guide: on the ship, the English guide will inform you about every day’s activities and the time through the broadcasting and the bulletin board. Also, he / she will introduce the Three Gorges for you and join in the activities. Service for free.
Laundry service: on the ship, you can do some laundry in your cabin. Besides, if you need the laundry service, call the reception desk and give the reasonable extra charge. Detailed prices to be known from staff onboard.
Internet & Wi-Fi: onboard the cruise, Business Center is available for you to use the computer to send some E-mails, share picture online, etc. Moreover, The Wi-Fi is covered all over the ship, so you can link you smart phones, laptops, etc. with the Wi-Fi with some extra fee.
You will have many ways to keep your mental health care. Clinic of both Chinese and Western treatments are prepared for some emergencies. And doctors there will show you some knowledge about traditional Chinese medicine and the acupuncture and moxibustion in the lecture.
Also, you can exercise your body in the spacious gym center with various equipment, pay to get relaxed in the SPA area, massage area, sauna room, learn to play Taichi under the great guidance of the Taichi master in the morning moment about 6:30-7:00 every day, etc. to keep healthy.
