“Tang-Tibet Ancient Road” themed exhibition opens in Qinghai Province

Themed as “Tang-Tibet Ancient Road“, a culture relic exhibition has opened at Qinghai Museum in the northwest of China. The exhibition is co-organized by Qinghai Culture and Tourism Bureau and Qinghai Heritage Administration, which will last until February 3rd, 2019.

During the exhibition, over 200 artifacts from seven provinces and autonomous regions will be showcased, which includes Qinghai, Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia, Xinjiang, and Tibet. Qinghai Museum is also going to show the geographic, cultural features and folk tales along the Tang-Tibet Ancient Road through video, electronic map and other multimedia methods.

Tang-Tibet Ancient Road is one of the three major trails in ancient China. With a length of 3,000 kilometers, it played a critical role in the Tang Dynasty as a must way from the central China to Qinghai, Tibet, and even Nepal. It is also a route for economic and cultural trade, which helps promote the civilizations in China.
