One thousand photographers take photos at the launch ceremony of a photo expedition tour held in Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan.
The largest photo expedition tour in Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan District—"Capturing Zhangjiajie, One Thousand Photographers' Expedition Tour in the New Year" was held in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area on January 6, 2014. One thousand domestic and international photographers, including those from Malaysia, attended the ceremony.
The event is organized by the People's Government of Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, the Administrative Office of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and the International Photography Association. During the four-day event, 1,000 photographers will visit various scenic spots of Wulingyuan such as Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, Huangshi Village, Golden Whip Stream, Huanglong Cave, and Baofeng Lake to capture the scenic locale.
According to President of the International Photography Association, Zhao Xuxin, the event is being held to offer domestic and overseas photographers a platform for exchange, and study, in addition to an opportunity to capture the magic and charm of the rare Zhangjiajie landform, and to promote the charming city in the world.
