The 2013 MBI World Boxing Championship was kicked off in Changsha on the evening of December 14. Eight Chinese boxers competed respectively against eight fighters from such countries as Brazil, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, Canada, and Malaysia. Finally, the thirty-eight-year-old Peng Xiaolong, a Chinese national with the title “King of Muay Thai”, won the champion at the score of 5-3.
