South Korea will start operating round-trip flights between Gimpo Airport near Seoul and Beijing Capital International Airport this month.
According to Korean Air, the 280-seat aircraft A330-300 will be used on the new route. Flight KE2851 departs from Seoul everyday at 9:30 and arrives in Beijing at 10:35. And Flight KE2852 leaves Beijing at 11:50 and lands on Seoul at 14:55.
Gimpo airport is not far from the downtown area of Seoul, and the Korean government expects that the opening of the new route will make the trips between Seoul and Beijing more convenient.
