According to the China Southern Airlines, a new direct flight will be launched to link Nanchong, an important central city in northeastern Sichuan Province, and Jieyang, a city in the southeast of Guangdong Province. The first flight will fly since November 1st.
The flight will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight CZ 8585 will leave Nanchong Gaoping Airport at 12:05 p.m. Beijing time. It will arrive in Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport at 14:45 p.m. Beijing time. The return flight CZ 8586 will depart from Nanchong at 15:30 p.m. Beijing time and arrive in Jieyang at 17:50 p.m. Beijing time.
Nanchong is a provincial historical and cultural city whose administrative history can be traced back to the year of 179 BC. Nanchong has always been the locality of the administrative organizations since the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Jieyang is also an ancient city with over 2,200 years' history. The name of 'Jieyang' firstly appeared in the history in the Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC). In the Han Dynasty (206BC-220), it was an independent shire controlling several districts.
