According to the Malaysia Air Asia, a new direct flight will be launched between Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province and Jesselton, the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia. The flight will be opened since November 30th, and it is scheduled to fly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The air route will be operated by Airbus A320 of Malaysia Air Asia. The flight AK 1482 will leave Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 21:10 p.m. local time. It will arrive in Kungming Changshui International Airport at 01:25 a.m. (+1) Beijing time. The flight time is 4 hours and 15 minutes. The return flight AK 1483 will leave Kunming at 02:30 a.m. Beijing time. It will arrive in Jesselton at 06:45 a.m. local time.
Kunming is known as 'the City of Eternal Spring' for its pleasant climate and flowers that bloom all year long. With a history of more than 2,400 years, Kunming was also the gateway to the Silk Road that facilitated trade with Tibet, Sichuan, Myanmar, India and other countries.
