According to the Zunyi authorities, a new direct flight has been opened between Zunyi - a city in southwest China's Guizhou Province and Krabi - a peninsula in the south of Thailand on July 10th.
The new air route is operated weekly by Boeing 737-800 aircraft of Thailand's Newgen Airways. It departs from Krabi every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. local time, and arrives in Zunyi at 9 p.m. Beijing time. The return flight leaves Zunyi at 10 p.m. Beijing time, and lands in Krabi at 0:35 a.m. local time the next day.
Zunyi is a prefecture-level and historic city with a variety of natural resources and cultural sites. It locates in the north of Guizhou Province, and situates at the side of the Xiangjiang River. Zunyi Airport opened in 2015, which is now planning to launch more direct flights to Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.
