On September 18th, a new direct air route linking Chongqing, the most economically important city in the west part of China and Harbin, China’s northernmost major city has been opened. According to the Chongqing Airport, this new flight is operated by Longjiang Airlines.
The new air route departs from Harbin at 7:55 a.m. every Monday to Friday and Sunday and arrives in Chongqing at 11:50 a.m. It takes off from Harbin at 7:40 a.m. every Saturday and arrives in Chongqing at 11:35 a.m. The departure time from Chongqing is 13:40 p.m. every day, and the arrival time in Harbin is 18:00 p.m.
Chongqing Airport reminds that Longjiang Airlines’ flights stop at T2 terminal. Passengers need to go to T2B terminal to complete the relevant procedures before boarding. The number of airlines departing from T2 terminal increased to six, namely Sichuan Airlines, China Express Air, West Air, Spring Airlines, 9 Airlines and Longjiang Airlines.
Harbin is known for the “Ice City” in Heilongjiang Province. It is a famous historical and cultural city famous for ice and snow culture. Because of the city’s special position, Harbin is described as the pearl beneath the swan’s neck, and plays a vital role in communications between South and North Asia as well the regions of Europe and the Pacific Ocean.
