The local government announced recently that China Southern Airlines will open a direct airline between Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province and Los Angeles on December 18th. This air route will be the first direct airline to America in the northeast three provinces.
This air route will be operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft. It will depart from Shenyang at 01:20 a.m. Beijing time every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It will arrive in Los Angeles at 21:00 p.m. local time. The flight takes about 11 hours and 40 minutes. The return flight departs from Los Angeles at 00:40 a.m. local time and arrives in Shenyang at 05:10 a.m. Beijing time. The return flight takes about 12 hours and 30 minutes.
Shenyang, the capital of the Liaoning Province, is an industrial center and transportation hub of Northeast China and is the largest political, economic, and cultural center of Northeast China. After the launch of the air route, the travel time from Shenyang to Los Angeles will be cut greatly. People can save at least 4 hours’ transit time.
