A new air line from London to Xi’an, the capital of Northwest China’s Shanxi province, will be launched in May, 2017, announced China’s Tianjin Airlines on Tuesday.
As the protagonist of this new air line, Airbus A330-200 aircraft provides 18 business class and 242 economy class seats for passengers each time. It takes about 10 hours to fly from London to Xi’an.
Officials from Britain and China concluded a deal last month that both parties should continue to devote themselves to doubling the number of flights and destinations. “We’re delighted to announce yet more new services for British travelers following the hugely successful launch of our first ever flights from Gatwick to Tianjin and Chongqing in China. We’re proud to be helping introduce British travelers to our fascinating country through our high quality service and unbeatable flights”, said Robert Chen, the British general manager for Tianjin Airlines.
