Mahan Air will launch weekly non-stop Tehran - Shanghai air service from Sept 3rd. The air company is based in Tehran, Iran, and this is the first time for the company to start a route in China.
According to Mahan Air, Boeing 747 aircraft will be used in this new route and the flight operates two times a week. During Mondays and Fridays, Tehran-Shanghai flights will depart at 21:15 and arrive at 9:45 the next day in Pudong International Airport; while Shanghai-Tehran flights will fly on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12:05 to 19:00.
The new flight service is said to bring more tourists from Iran and promote the development of China's tourism.
