July 27, at about five in the afternoon,a rainbow arises over Wulingyuan scenic spot of the world natural heritage Zhangjiajie Be specific,it appears over the “Celestial beauty scattering flowers”spot.With the decoration of baby-blue sky,white clouds and verdant mountains ,the rainbow looks more charming and magnificent.Tourists present are deeply absorbed in the fairyland.
From a scientific view ,a rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the Earth’s atmosphere. The colours visible in the rainbow are red ,orange ,yellow ,green, blue ,indigo ,violet.
Nowadays,due to the scorching weather,monkeyrain is a frenquecy in Zhangjiajie in a short time,which contributes to lower the heat as well as creates favorable conditions for a rainbow .
