The newly-built Hunan Museum will arrange its first large temporary exhibition on cultural relics of the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 B.C.) and the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.) on December 29, 2017. A total of 240 pieces (sets) of cultural relics including tiger-shaped tally will be on display.
The exhibition will last till March 28, 2018.
The photo above shows a double-winged silver-inlaid bronze mythical animal unearthed at a tomb of the emperor of Zhongshan Kingdom in Pingshan County, Hebei Province in 1977. It is now collected by the Cultural Relic Institute of Hebei Province. It will be displayed from December 29. (Photo/Guo Liliang)
