“Focus on Zhangjiajie & One Thousand Photographers Collection Activity”–The four-day and the largest-scale photography collection activity draw its curtain in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan on Jan 9th where near 1,200 professional photographers from global attend the grand meeting. According to incomplete statistics, about 500,000 works that reflect Zhangjiajie’s natural scenery, folk customs and characters have been presented, which is called the highest-standard tourism photography grand meeting by circles from photography and tourism.
The deputy head of district of Wulingyuan People’s Government introduces this activity magnifies the miracle and beauty of Zhangjiajie landform; It is a grand meeting for photography festival as well as a mega-hit tourism marketing; through the cameras from global photographers, “Zhangjiajie” is brought to every corner of the world.
The activity is co-organzised by Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan People’s Government, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Management Office and the International Photography Association. In 2011 and 2012, Wulingyuan hold successively the Interntaional Internet Photography Contest. At present, The 3rd Zhangjiajie National Scenery Photography Contest is in full swing with over 1,000 photographers take part in.
