First-ever Direct Route Opens between Melbourne and Zhengzhou, Henan

A Boeing 787-800 aircraft has taken off from Melbourne, Australia, then landed at the parking apron at Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou, Henan Province through a 10h30m flight yesterday on Dec 6. This flight declares that a new direct air route between Australia and Middle China has entered operation.

The service is offered by Australian low-cost airline Jetstar Airways using a Boeing 787-800 which could contain 329 passengers at most. There will be 2 flights a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The travel time is about 10h30m.
