On June 20, the European Glass Artistic Treasure Exhibition officially kicked off. The exhibition, which lasts from June 21 to September 14, is held at a temporary exhibition hall on the third floor of the Planning Exhibition Pavilion located at the New Xiangjiang District. The adult fare is 30 yuan and the concessionary fare is 20 yuan.
The 200 exhibits, presenting European classic art treasures to Hunan people, are mainly from the Prague National Art and Museum of Czech Republic. The glass artistic treasures are mainly from five different periods: the ancient period, the renaissance period, the baroque and rococo period, the neoclassical period, and the art nouveau and modernism art period.
