China Southern Airlines launched a direct flight route linking Haikou, capital of south China's island province Hainan, and Rangoon, Myanmar on 24, Feb, 2017.
The new service runs two times a week, on Mondays and Friday. The flight CZ8471 departs from Haikou at 11:10, and after a stop at Guangzhou it lands in Rangoon at 16:40 (local time). The return flight leaves from Rangoon at 17:40 local time and arrive in Haikou at 00:50 +1.
China Southern Airlines also plans for flights from Haikou to Jakarta, Indonesia; Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, Thailand; and Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia this year.
