A new direct air route was launched on August 17 between Chongqing, the largest municipality in southwest China and Sihanoukville, a seaside town featuring Cambodia’s best-known beaches.
The new air route is operated by Airbus A321 craft of Cambodia JC Airlines. There are three flights departure from Chongqing on Thursday, Saturday and Monday. It departures from Chongqing at 02:00 a.m. Beijing time and arrives in Sihanoukville at 05:40 local time. The flight number is QD713.
Chongqing is located at the center of the ancient Bayu Area which is also the birthplace of Bayu Culture, a historical and cultural city in China with more than 3,000 years of history. About 20 to 30 thousand years ago, human beings had moved to this area, thereby marking the start of Chongqing’s long history.
