On June 28th, China Southern Airlines started its new direct flight - Shenyang, capital city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, to Irkutsk in Russia, one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.
The scheduled flight will take off from Shenyang on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 04:25 p.m., and land in Irkutsk about three hours later at 08:00 p.m. local time. The returning flight will depart from Irkutsk at 09:30 p.m. local time, and arrive Shenyang at 00:30 a.m. the next morning.
Shenyang, the capital of the Liaoning Province, is an industrial center and transportation hub of Northeast China and is the largest political, economic, and cultural center of Northeast China. For the traveler, Shenyang boasts its very own Imperial Palace, a tomb complex and two decent museums, as well as several fine parks.
