China Southern Airlines is set to launch a non-stop service on the route linking Guangzhou and Vancouver in June.
This is the first route between the Chinese city and the port city in Canada and it will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday using Boeing 777B aircraft.
The flights of Guangzhou-Vancouver will leave Guangzhou at 13:00, and arrive in Vancouver at 10:20 local time; while the Vancouver-Guangzhou flight will depart at 12:00 and arrive in Guangzhou at 14:50.
On April 8, 2011 China Southern Airlines began a direct Guangzhou-Auckland route three times a week operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The Guangzhou-based carrier became the first mainland carrier to provide direct flight to New Zealand from the south of China.
China Southern operates a fleet of 420 aircraft and serves 172 cities in 30 countries and regions, with Guangzhou as its hubs.
