Baisha Mural is located at Baisha Villages, 10km north of Lijiang. Although the traditional houses do not look impressive, this was the cradle of the Naxi culture and ancient capital of the Naxi Kingdom.

Black Dragon Pool is the landmark of Lijiang. The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China because of its exquisite beauty.

Shigu Ancient Town around Lijiang is one of the famous old towns at river bank of upper Yangtze River, where you can see the First Bend of Yangtze River

Mufu Palace or Mu Family Mansion, is short for Palazzo della Famiglia Mu. Located on the foot of Lion Mountain, Mufu Palace is the grand garden of Lijiang Ancient Town.

Lashi Lake, located in the west side of Lijiang County about 10 km away, is the first wetland reserve in Yunnan. “Lashi” is an ancient Naxi language that “La” means poor ground and “Shi” means new.

Lijiang Dongba Museum is located within the Black Dragon Pool Park. It is a good place where you can study the Dongba Naxi minority culture

White Water River or Baishui River is about 30 km from Lijiang Ancient Town, nearby Ganhaizi at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

White Horse Temple is located east of Luoyang. It is honored as ‘the Cradle of Buddhism in China’.

Songshan Mountain in Henan Province is one of the Five Sacred Mountains in China, also the highest one, where the famous Shaolin Temple is located

The Songyang Academy was one of the highest academies in the Song Dynasty and the first of the four academies of the Northen Song Dynasty in China and famous for its rationalistic Confucian philosophical school.
