The Okay Airways will open a regular direct flight from Changsha to Kalibo of the Philippines on Oct. 29, 2017. It will facilitate trips from Hunan and neighboring provinces to the Boracay Island, which no longer need transfer in Guangzhou.
The Changsha-Kalibo flight is scheduled to operate every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday on Boeing 737-800. The flight BK2761 takes off from Changsha at 09:55 am; and, the flight BK2762 takes off from Kaboli at 14:15, and arrives in Changsha at 17:35. The daytime flights promise a better experience for passengers.
The Philippines is included in the national "Belt and Road" Initiative. The Boracay Island in central Philippines receives more than 500,000 tourists from all around the world every year. Its white and soft beaches stretch for as long as 4 kilometers.
