A grand bronze exhibition launched at Qingbaijiang Museum in Chengdu, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, Jan.6th, 2018.
More than 120 selected exhibits, a small part of the culture relics from the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476BC), were excavated in April 2016. This exhibition is divided in 3 parts: War, Life, Exchange and Integration. In addition to weapons like bronze spears, swords, lances, other utensils and tools used in daily lives and farm works include bronze kettle, tripods, knives, chisels and the like.
Bronze exhibition from this time unveils the ancient and mysterious culture of Sichuan. It also clarifies the historical context of Qingjiang District. These brilliant exhibits not only show the exquisite craft in the Spring and Autumn Period, but also provide full and accurate materials for people to study the history, culture, funeral customs and external exchanges in ancient Sichuan.
