Air China Limited will launch a new service between Beijing and Dusseldorf in Germany from March 27, 2011. This is the third direct flight to Germany operated by Air China following two other routes to Frankfurt and Munich.
The new service will promote the economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries as well as boosting the development of the tourism market. It will allow more tourists to travel between the two cities more conveniently.
Dusseldorf is a Germany city located on the River Rhine which is famous for its culture, and the number of tourism exchanges with China has been increasing steadily over the past few years.
This new route will have three flights each week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flights will depart from Beijing Capital International Airport at 13:55 and arrive at Dusseldorf at 18:45 (about 10 hours); the return flights will depart from Dusseldorf at 20:45 and arrive at Beijing at 12:45 the next day (about 11 hours) (the listed flight time is based on the local time).
